The Position
Hakanson Anderson is seeking a full-time licensed Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer you will assist Principal Engineers by conducting site visits, attending team meetings, performing calculations for projects, computing and tabulating quantities, drafting plans with AutoCAD, and performing construction administration and construction observation duties.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota
- 5+ years’ experience
Position Requirements
- Work in a team environment participating in all aspects of project design and coordination
- Collaborate with project members to deliver high quality service to our clients
- Perform detailed design for portions of major projects and for entire projects of moderate scope
- Plan preparation, technical report preparation, writing specifications
- Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians as needed
- Participate in public presentations as needed
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship or other work visa petitions.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Municipal Engineering a plus
