Civil Engineer - Municipal

Hakanson Anderson has been providing Engineering and Land Surveying services to municipalities and private enterprises for the past 45 years. We are seeking a full time Civil Engineer with 6+years of experience. Salary $90,000 to $115,000 annually depending on experience.

Typical Job Responsibilities:

You will work in a team environment participating in all aspects of project design and coordination; collaborating with other team members within the company to deliver quality services to our clients. You may perform the detailed design for portions of a major project, or in total on a project of moderate scope. Specific tasks may include plan preparation, writing specifications, and preparation of technical reports. Your responsibilities may require overseeing the work of EITs or Technicians. You may also be asked to participate in public presentations and will have many opportunities to advance your career as you successfully accomplish projects of increasing scope and difficulty.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent
• Six or more years of relevant experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willing to work in an office environment and in the field
• Valid MN Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship or other work visa petitions
